Testimonials from players and parents

"Last winter I didn’t think my kids (10 and 16) fully appreciated the fact that they received batting lessons from a real ball player on the verge of a major league career. They just knew Will Rhymes as "Will,& the guy that helps them become better hitters. So in March I took them to see a Detroit Tigers spring training game against the Cardinals in Lakeland, FL. Will was inserted in the 7th inning and ended the game with a walk off single in the 9th. Then in May we drove down to Norfolk to see Will’s AAA team, the Toledo Mudhens, play the Norfolk Tides. Will cracked a home run over the right field wall on a 3-0 pitch. In July, when our family was touring the Midwest, we stopped in Toledo to see the Mudhens play the Syracuse Chiefs (National’s AAA team). Sure enough, Will hit a three run homer in that game and later pulled a grand slam shot just foul. I think my kids are now convinced how lucky they are having Will Rhymes as their batting instructor this off-season.

How does a guy 5’ 9" and 155 lbs hit a ball so well? It’s all big league technique. The same technique that A-Rod, Pujols, and most other professional players use. Will is helping my kids learn this technique in the same manner he approaches his own batting –relaxed and focused. The load, the swing, the footwork, the follow-through, etc. are all taught in a step-by-step process. Like an "Eye Spy" expert, Will observes fine details of everything. What might seem like insignificant adjustments to you and me yields big results for the kid. To top it off, he really is a nice guy. I recommend Will’s services for any age player. You won’t be disappointed. (Get him to tell you the story about Ryne Sandberg and Al Kaline throwing him batting practice.)" - Jon Simpson

I consider Jon and his sons Will and Ben to be good luck charms and they are welcome at any future game. – Will Rhymes
